Göcek’s coves and the nearby 12 islands are described as a hidden paradise, with countless heavenly bays, turquoise coloured clean seas and nearby beaches. With the dramatic backdrop of the Taurus mountains and green pine forests, Göcek is one of the most popular yachting centres of the Aegean / Mediterranean, located in the middle of the Blue Voyage route.

The gulf of Göcek and Fethiye provide many opportunities to visit a variety of cultural sites such as Caunos, Telmessos, Fethiye Museum, Tlos, Pýnara, Letoon, Xanthos and Patara. Temple-rock tombs can be seen in the village of Inlice, 5km to the south of Göcek.

Göcek boasts a number of restaurants, cafes and bars along the marina and quayside where you can sit and enjoy the views over the many gulets, yachts and small boats moored along the waterfront. Diving, sailing, snorkelling, paragliding, hiking, nature walks, and archaeology, are just but a few of the recreational activities you can enjoy in Göcek and its surroundings. There are new golf courses built nearby in Dalaman.
